Processing Content

When you initiate an action using the magicreader extension, the full HTML of the webpage you choose to process is sent to our servers. This only happens when you initiate an action, such as shortening or restyling the text on a webpage. We do not collect data in the background.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use our service, including:

  • Pages processed (URLs and document identifiers)
  • Operations performed (shorten, restyle)
  • Timestamps and duration of operations

Session Data

We collect session information to keep you logged in, including session identifiers and timestamps.

The magicreader browser extension requires the following permissions:
